Bursting is the folder on my desktop named inspiration. And I can’t help but add more. Flooding the internet is the work of hundreds and thousands of remarkable artists whose work I get the pleasure of perusing. I really should continue the cycle of these artists, as they’ve inspired me so. Dolan Geiman is the artist of the work above. His mixed media pieces are made of found objects that have a story to tell. He’s used anything from scrap wood to love letters from the civil war. His work isn’t just pleasing to look at, it’s challenging. It reminds that I should have saved that dirt-stained paper I found because of what it could have become.
